Raised in Terrace, BC on Kitselas territory, he began in pre-med before pivoting to an MBA in Accounting and Marketing at Trinity Western University. While still at university he founded Kemano CCS, raising $1.2M from private investors to build a 30-acre hemp cultivation operation in Manitoba. He went on to work in decentralized finance — DAO governance and tokenomics at Weavr.org and Fractional Finance — then served as CMO of consumer brand Casa Leo before founding Grow Wild. The through-line across every venture is the same: complex systems with many moving parts, and the work of making them run.
